Long span shelving is used as a heavy duty hand loaded storage system that is designed to store large, heavy and bulky items. The long span of the shelves can vary greatly and extend up to a length of around 2.4 Metres and gives a shelf depth of around 1.2 Metres from front to back.

Ideal for storing a variety of products the stepped beam systems are designed to take 25mm thick chipboard decking, but in most cases Space Age Storage recommend fitting durable steel panels for the decking as these can hold a variety of weights and and require replacing less often than the chipboard decking system.
